Ms. Laurie and Ms. Gina's 3's class delivered "friendship cookies" to the Monday through Thursday 4's class down the hall.  What a nice surprise!

The 4's/5's/6's made Quesadillas during Fiesta Week.  All of the children had a special Spanish class every day with Mrs. Alicia Shade, a CEC parent and Spanish professor from UNC Chapel Hill.

The 4's/5's took a train trip to Burlington on April 29.   They boarded the Amtrak train at the Greensboro Station.  While in Burlington, they visited the City Park and rode the Carousel,  miniature Park train and had a picnic.  Click on the title to view slide show.

The Greensboro Science Center recently brought  a Ferret, a blue-tongued Lizard, an Armadillo, a Ball Python, and a Dominique Chicken to visit at CEC.  We learned all about mammals, reptiles and birds.  Did you know that when a snake sticks its tongue out it's actually sniffing and smelling its environment?  Click on title to view slideshow of more pictures.
